2019 Mother’s Day Walk for Peace

The Louis D. Brown Peace Institute’s, Mother’s Day Walk is a beloved Boston tradition and celebration of our potential to create more peaceful communities.

Every year families from across the state and region walk together toward peace.  Join us on Mother’s Day to demand dignity and compassion for
all families impacted by murder.

Panelist Chaplain Clemetina Chéry spoke movingly about the Institute’s mission to provide healing and support to families of victims of violence and families of perpetrators of violence. The walk brings together thousands of people who are compassionate about justice, healing and peace.

Details of the Walk, which is the Peace Institute’s chief fundraiser, can be found at https://www.mothersdaywalk4peace.org. Your group can start a team. There is a $10 registration and additional donations are welcomed.
