Vigil for Pittsburgh synagogue shooting

We held an emotional vigil for the victims of the mass shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh. Yet again, we are at the intersection of hate and gun violence. Hate – so disconnected from any truth – is spreading fast and furiously in our country.

We have to support free speech and vote. Also, leave our own tribe and have difficult conversations with others. Not to change minds, but to humanize.

Deeply saddened, I share the names of the victims. May they rest in peace and their sacrifice motivate us to keep working on our cause.
